When you did not yet select a price file or have removed it using the "Clear" command, Daikin

Altherma needs a currency. In those cases, that field becomes editable and you have to enter it.

When there is no price data filled in, the material table in the Daikin Altherma report (see section

5.4) will not contain prices and price totals. So, you only must fill in the currency to proceed with

the minimum setup.

3.3 The Electricity Tab

The electricity tab defines the low and high price periods, together with the corresponding prices

per kWh, as shown in Figure 18.

In many countries the tariff for one kWh of electricity depends on the hour of the day or the day

of the week when this electricity was used. Daikin Altherma uses two electricity tariffs: the tariff

at a low price period and at the high price period. Together with these prices, you may select the

hours for each day of the week during which the low tariff applies.

Figure 18 shows a low price period from 0h up to 6h and from 22h to 23h, which also applies for

all weekdays. This is the default definition.

To add an extra hour (e.g. at 7h), you click the box on Monday at 7h and while keeping the

mouse pressed, move it downwards. Daikin Altherma shows the selected boxes in blue. Now you

click one of the buttons below the table:

- When clicking the "Set to low price period" button, Daikin Altherma fills the boxes with

asterisks and marks them as belonging to a low price period.

- When clicking the "Set to high price period" button, Daikin Altherma clears the boxes and

marks them as belonging to a high price period.
