5.2.3 Heating CO

emission

The graph in Figure 44 shows a comparison of the annual CO

emissions for Daikin Altherma,

and different boiler types, sized to cover the yearly heat load for the simulated building. Neither

Daikin Altherma nor the electric heater will have any direct emissions. The emission from these

systems is based on calculations according to the average CO

emission from the selected

country's electricity production. A pellets boiler is considered as almost CO

neutral.

5.2.4 Energy consumption per month

The graph in Figure 45 shows the energy consumption (input) per month for the heat pump and

back up heater. The graph splits u the results between day and night operations to take day and

night tariffs into account.
